NLH

I am simply too tired to reiterate what has happened in the last two hours. My mind is numb from lack of sleep and far too much concentration. This is much like the bar exam, except somehow more important. Here are my two favorite hands however.

Everyone folds to us and we raise to 3200 from the button with 77. The big blind calls and the flop comes 779. That's right, we flopped quads! Now that we know we will win the hand, we just have to extract as much money as possible. He checks and we check. The turn is a rag. He bets 20,000 and we simply call. The river is a jack. He bets 45,000 and we raise another 70,000. Unfortunately, he folds. We gave him all of the opportunity we could to make the best hand that he could make.

I don't remember the betting increments. We raise from seat 4 with 33 And the button reraises. There is enough money in the pot to justify us calling, but only if we believe we can also extract money from him if we hit a three on the flop. We call. The flop comes 39T With two spades. We make a modest that into him and he pushes all in for about 120000. Is pre-flop action could mean he has pocket tens or nines, but otherwise we feel very safe. We call and he shows AT. He rivers and Ace, but that is not enough. Our set of threes takes it down.

We close the level with 832,000 in chips. There are about 26 players left. We begin again tomorrow at 1 PM. Hopefully I will not take any reports to you until after 3 PM.
