We literally folded every hand in round nine except one.
Everyone folded to the small blind who limped in. We are in the big blind with Q7. The average hand heads up is Q7 So we are presumably below average. However, if he had a king or an ace, he should have raised. So we are likely in the lead with our hand, but we simply check and see the flop.
The flop comes 7QK. We flopped two pair! He bets 950 into us and we just call, slow playing. Again, he shouldnt have a K so we are looking very solid. The turn comes A. Gain he shouldnt have an A but a TJ for a straight is remotely possible. He checks and we bet 1500. He calls and the river comes J. He checks. We are probably good, but we would hate to that and have him raise. If he has a 10 he will kill us with a straight. If he raises us, we will likely have to throw our hand away in fear of the 10. We simply check and he shows an A4. Strange that he had an ace, but we are happy to take it down.
We close round 9 approximately 35000. Heading in for two more hours now so hopefully no updates for at least two hours.
All the best,
Folding Donkey
