PLO Round 4

Playing 75 150 - Seat 7 raises to 350 and we call from SB with A24Q double suited. BB calls. Flop comes 369 with 2 clubs. We have Q4c. We bet 600 and the BB calls. Turn comes 8d. We check and BB checks. River comes 8c giving us Q high flush. We bet 1100 and BB raises the pot. That's over 4000. She likely has Ace high flush; that or a strong bluff. We fold.

Seat 3 and 4 call 150 and we have 4QKK and raise pre flop to 600 from seat 7. We get three callers including the Blinds and the woman who just pushed us out a bit ago. Flop comes 39T with 2 spades. We have K4s. The blinds check and we check. She checks and the turn comes K. Giddey up. We have K high flush draw, gut shot straight draw and top set. Blinds check and we bet 1600. She raises 5000. That about puts us all in. The only thing she can have is a straight, but if she does, we have 9 spade outs and 8 other cards that give us a full house or quads (plus 3 cards that likely give us the same straight she has. If she doesn't have a straight, we have her crushed. Do we let her push us out again? No, we push all in. She calls with the straight and the river is a rag.

I want to vomit. We've gone from a huge stack to turning in out extra life chip at a time when that gives us just one big crack.

First hand we have KK78 with K7h. Ks again . . . We raise pre flop to 400 and get three calls, including the woman who I will refer to as Donkey Killer. The short story is that we go all in and she has AA underneath and takes our last bit of chips and pride.

Donkey dead.

Although we should expect to place only 1 in 10 tourneys, having lost the first few has Donkey down. I may go crazy and play the super mixed tourney. If I do, there will be no investors (unless we get deep into day 2; you'll free roll until then) and no updates. This will be a high focus tourney of:

Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, Seven Card Razz , Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball
